I remember Uncle Sam, his nickname since I was a little girl and before Aunt Rose and he were married, as a kind, fun-loving, gentle and always likable man. He was a person that was always giving to others and looking at life through a positive lens. Even into his last few years he enjoyed thinking about and doing new things. A deal-maker, a bit of a prankster, a family provider, a problem solver were some of the things that make him who he was. I will miss him and will look forward to seeing him in heaven. God bless his soul!
