My condolences to you on the loss of a wonderful woman. Mrs. Taylor was my 6th grade teacher & my favorite teacher of all. Heaven has truly received another angel. Elana- very sorry for your loss I will remember the dinners,stories and your laugh. Now all the beautiful Morrill sisters are together again.Kimmi XO What a lovely picture of Anna Ruth, just as I remembered her. I taught First Grade in Newfane when Anna Ruth was there teaching Sixth Grade. What a lovely lady! She taught one of my daughters and my son in sixth grde. After, we were both retired, I would meet her once in awhile and she always asked about the children.Your Mother was full of fun and oh, So friendly. My prayers are with you, her family. On behalf of Virginia "Gin", Wally and Ron Johnston we wish Michael, Joanne and Elana much simpathy and at the same time much happyness as you gather this week to celebrate the life of Anna Ruth.We hope that you enjoy reliving the many picnics,parties, and events the Jolly Eight Bridge Club families had over the years. I for one will miss the last dance I had at the Big Tree Inn with your mother before she moved to California. Love from our family to yours. Gin, Wally and Ron Johnston I had Anna Ruth as my sixth grade teacher in Newfane. She was a lot of fun and a great teacher. I always remember her talking to the girls in the class about shoes. Mrs. Taylor always loved shoes and always wore the spiked heels even for teaching. She used to tell us that if your shoes went out of style to put them in the back of your closet and they would come back in style in 20 years. She was so right. She was one of my last teachers from Elementary School that was still alive. I have the best of memories of her and my sixth grade class. She was one in a million. Dear Elana & Family, Please accept my (John Ringer - Dorothys Son) sincere condolences for the recent loss of your mother. The last time I saw or spoke with Aunt Anna Ruth was while driving her back-and-forth from Lockport-to-Buffalo to attend my mothers funeral back in 2004. It gave us an opportunity to catch-up on everything weve sadly missed over these many years! As always, it gave me one last chance to hear Aunt Anna Ruths wonderful stories/recollections of both family and her life experiences. She was a wonderful woman who will be missed by anyone who knew her and was blessed by God with both length-of-years and a loving family! God Bless, John Ringer Buffalo, NY ;
