Ruth A. Washburn Washburn, Ruth A. of Lockport, NY, passed away on Thursday January 21, 2010 in Absolut of Gasport. Born on January 7, 1924 in Lockport, NY, she was the daughter of Louis and Gertrude Hanney Porter. She was a member of Clinton Street Methodist Church, travelled extensively and was a loving mother,grandmother and great grandmother. Predeceased by her husband, Dr. Leo S. Washburn in 1985, she is survived by her children, Sharon (Thomas) Grimes, Rodney G. Washburn both of Florida and Stephanie Washburn of Lockport, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.langefuneralhomeinc.com.
