Obituary of Philip W. Jones, Jr.

Philip W. Jones Jr., age 68, of Lockport, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2024. Philip was a United States Air Force Veteran, who served from 1975-1979. He retired in 2015 after a 35 year career working for the United States Postal Service as a rural mail carrier. In his retirement, he filled his time working for Hickory Stick Golf Course in Lewiston. He enjoyed spending time golfing and fishing. He was a high school and college athlete, and in his later years, enjoyed coaching his own children. He was a very good cook who enjoyed making Sunday dinners and, of course, the Thanksgiving day turkey. Philip was an animal lover and throughout his life always had a dog. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Gerri Jones. Beloved father of Jennifer Revy, Corinne (Orin Knopp) Jones, Sara (Zach) Aga, and Andy Jones. Cherished grandfather of Franklin and Tallulah Revy. He was predeceased by his parents Philip Sr. and Maria Jones. Loving brother of Edward (Cheryl) Jones, Maria (Nancy) Jones, Linda (Douglas) Vincent, and the late Sandra Bobzien. He will be missed by many good friends, as well as his faithful dog Chester.
