Frank J. “Joe” Clayborn of Lockport, NY, formerly of Maumelle, AR, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at home. Born on August 20, 1936, in Eureka Springs, AR, he was the son of the late Garland and Pearl (Fredrick) Clayborn. Frank proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1957-1961. Frank and his wife, the former Marcia Charles, were married on August 23, 1967, and lived in the Rochester area until 1975 when they moved to Arkansas. In Arkansas, he was a truck driver and then a general contractor, building his own home. Frank spent many years with his best friend, Marvin, doing home repairs. He and Marcia moved back to upstate New York in 2018 to be close to family. Surviving is his wife, Marcia (Charles) Clayborn; sister, Mary (late Richard) Wofford and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Monday, March 18th from 4-7 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave., Lockport, NY where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 AM. Interment in Western New York National Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to the animal rescue of choice.
