Josephine Boudreau (nee Stawicki) Boudreau, Josephine (nee Stawicki) passed away peacefully with her family ather side on Tuesday July 28, 2009 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Newfane, after a lengthy illness. Born on April 2, 1920 in Medina, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha Konopa Stawicki. Her husband of 52 years, Leslie Boudreau passed away on January 2, 1998. Josephine worked as a waitress at several local restaurants in the fifties, retiring from B&B Plastics, Metal Cladding, Inc. in 1982. She was a member of St. Josephs Parish, loved family get togethers and meeting people. Her sense of humor will be missed. She enjoyed growing houseplants, bingo, garage sales, her aquarium and had a great love of animals, especially her cat Bootsy. Predeceased by her husband, Leslie and her brothers, Stanley, Walter, Vincent and Anthony, she is survived by her daughter, Lucy (Gordon) Kemp of Lockport, grandson,Michael (Sharlee) Annalora of Wilson, great grandchildren, Dominic and Bryan Annalora, Kyle Roggow and Alexis Nicholas, sisters, Mary (late Richard) Garrett of Iowa,Teresa (George) White of NJ and Elizabeth (late Michael) Ferri of Medina, brothers,John (Thelma) Stawicki and Thomas (Betty) Stawicki of Medina, long time dear friend,Roselyn Storms and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Friday 2:00-6:00 PM at Lange Funeral Home, Inc. 186 East Avenue,Lockport where prayers will be offered on Saturday at 9:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM from St. Josephs Church, 391 Market Street, Lockport. Burial will follow in Huskey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the Alzheimers Assoc. of WNY or Save-a-pet would be appreciated by the family.
