Dear Goehle Family:
Please accept my condolences on behalf of all the volunteers and staff at Artpark on the loss of your dear Mother. I just learned of your Mom's passing from her close friend Jill Kwoka who she volunteered with at Artpark. I got to know your Mom well over the past few years of her service at Artpark and can tell you she was a joy to know and work with. She and Jill were a great team and did a great job directing people on Tuesday nights from the "C" lot. I will miss her. I am so very sorry for your loss. May she Rest In Peace.
Francine DelMonte,
Volunteer Coordinator

Greg and Gretchen–February, 2023
Dear Greg and Gretchen,
I was surprised and saddened to hear of Cindy’s passing. She was one of God’s creatures who
had the compassion and awareness, always ,of family.
When I think of your mom my memory jogs to the times when she and Rob would talk on the phone
for hours telling and teasing each other about their own lives and their families’ lives. She couldn’t
see me but, sitting on the couch, I listened and smiled just watching Rob’s face lighten as they
shared the stories that bond families no matter how many miles or time separates them. Your mom
came out to visit us both in San Diego and Pevely, occasionally becoming the link between our
families. People like her are precious.
Greg, she was always aware of what was going on in your life, even as she bemoaned your life’s
choices, yet, no question, with love and laughter. Invariably she would tell the story of your military career and your station in Spain where, on security watch at the airport, you forgot you were supposed to be safeguarding the planes. I wound up laughing with abandonment as I watched from my perch on
the couch. Remember? Well, I do….so much love.
And you, Gretchen, with worry and concern as you struggled through, traveling so many times to
support and to be there, as you worked your way through the obstacles. She was beyond anger at
the hospital, fighting for you, listening and understanding as you made those hard decisions….so
much love and pride for her children.
She carried on her shoulders not just the love of a mother, but the caring of a friend. You both
were so lucky to have grown up with your mom in your lives.
Her life touched our lives in unknown ways. Family was always priority #1.
Remember that… and then smile. I am sure she will know.
Love, your Aunt Dorry
