Obituary of Angelo J. Nunnari, Sr.

Angelo J. Nunnari, Sr. of Lockport, NY passed away on Sunday October 27, 2019 in Niagara Hospice House .Born on December 12, 1936 in Lockport, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna Molisani Nunnari. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1956 -1958 and worked as an Inspector at Harrison Radiator retiring in 1996. For many years he was also a butcher at Scapelliti’s when it was located on Clinton St. Angelo bowled and coached Lockport Little Loop, North Tonawanda Little Loop and Newfane High School football for over 30 years.

Angelo is survived by his wife of 33 years, Margaret Merchant Nunnari; children, Dean (Paula), Patricia (John) Haenle, James, Angelo “Boo”, Jr. (Debra), Kimberly (John) Clark, Cheryl Nunnari-Randolph, George (Nhan) Joustra, Jr., Terry (James) Garlock, Jody Grahn, Connie Root, Patricia (James) Gauer and Shirley Stenzel; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Anthony, Rose Gaughn, Joseph, Jr. and Mary Ann Devlin and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by grandson, Matthew and brother, James.

Friends may call on Tuesday 4-8 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave. where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Interment in Hartland Central Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc. Condolences may be offered to the family at langefuneralhomeinc.com.
