Obituary of Bessie M. Fleisher

Bessie M. Fleisher of Lockport, NY, passed away on Tuesday June 25, 2019 in Niagara Hospice House. Born on January 20, 1924 in Spring Mills, PA, she was the daughter of Elmer F. and Nancy Coulter Fisher. Mrs. Fleisher retired in 2007 at the age of 83 after 34 years with Niagara County. She and her husband, the late Robert R. Fleisher, were married July 12, 1943 and he predeceased her in 2012. Mrs. Fleisher was very devoted and generous to all her family and friends.

Wife of the late, Robert R. Fleisher, she is survived by her children, Robert (Cheryl) Fleisher and Bonnie (Paul) Whitesell; 5 grandchildren, Connie Fleisher-Weil, Sheila Fleisher, Michele (Anthony) Smith, Robbie (Lynne) Fleisher and Jennifer (David) Berner, 8 great grandchildren, Austin, Saxon, Hudson, Dawson, Anthony, Ashley, Blaise and Michael;  great great grandson, Cole and dear friends, Bobby Buchanan and Diane Rooney.

Friends may call on Friday June 28th 11:00 AM – 2:30 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave. followed by a funeral service at 2:30 PM. Entombment in Glenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc. Condolences may be offered to the family at langefuneralhomeinc.com.
