I worked for Tom at EDS and have known him since 1986, and he was always one of the most decent individuals I ever had the privledge to work with. He always had a smile and kind word for people, and kept a cool head no matter how heated a situation would get. I remember that he had a constant love of golf but most importantly, his family meant the most to him. He also kept other families in mind, and I remember hearing from him in 2004 when my father had passed away. Even though we hadn't worked together for years, he still kept in touch with people, and that was indicative of the depth of his character. We'll all miss Tom and all of you in his family will be in our prayers. To the Conlin Family: Tom will be greatly missed. He was a friend, a golfing buddy, an excellent EDS leader, a mentor, and someone who was always fun to be around and to work with. His final fight was one of dignity, strength, and sound advice to his friends. It was always clear to those he was with that the most important thing in his life was his family. Our thoughts are prayers are with you. Tom will be missed very much. I worked for him for a while at EDS and loved his approach to both work & life; and the balance he maintained. His quick intellect always kept me on my toes and laughing. May the fact that he is released from pain and in a better place provide some comfort to you. My prayers are with you and the entire family at this time of loss. May God grant you peace! Ray Tom was one of a kind. It was my pleasure and priviledge to work with him at EDS. He will be missed.
