Obituary of Blanche M. Miller

Blanche M. Miller Miller, Blanche M. of Lockport, NY, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2008 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born on June 30, 1922 in the Town of Somerset, she was the daughter of William and Rosella Brauer Neumann. Blanche worked as a cafeteria cook for twelve years at the University of Buffalo, retiring in 1990. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, their Women’s Guild and sang in the church choir. She was a former member of the Wendleville Auxiliary and enjoyed bowling, gardening and cooking. Predeceased in 1978 by her husband Jacob H. Miller, she was the mother of James K. (Irene) Miller of Lockport, David R Miller of North Tonawanda, and the late Rose McDermott, grandmother of Bryan J. McDermott, Jr., Holly (Rollie) Hackmer and Jeff (Tammy) Miller, great grandmother of James Balcom, Nicholas Miller and Brittney Wittig, sister of Vera (late Benjamin) White of Sanborn, William (Carol)Neumann of WA, the late Dorothy Hyde, the late Louise Nerber and the late Bernhart Neumann and aunt of several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Monday 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Lange Funeral Home, Inc. 186 East Ave., Lockport where funeral services will be at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Wheatfield Cemetery.
