Obituary of James D. Nunnari
James D. Nunnari of Lockport, NY passed away on Sunday March 4, 2018 in Niagara Hospice House. Born on January 25, 1932 in Lockport, he was the son of Joseph and Anna Molisoni Nunnari. He attended Brockport State and served in the National Guard and the U.S. Army from 1955 – 1957 in Germany. Jim was a Surveyor for the 7th Army Training command and was a “Leg” in the 11th Airborne Division. He retired from Harrison Radiator in 1990. A loyal Yankees and Bills fan, Jim enjoyed golf, baseball, softball and basketball. He was a member of the Dale Association and the Elks and Screwball Clubs.
Predeceased by his wife, Barbara Wilson Nunnari, he is survived by his children, Annemarie (Marvin) Tracey, Nancy (Mark) Ellis, Joseph (Kim), Susan (Franklin) Barry and Craig (Michelle); 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and siblings, Anthony (Shirley), Rose Gaughn, Joseph, Jr., Angelo (Margaret) and Mary Ann Devlin and several nieces and nephews. Jim was very proud of his children and grandchildren.
Friends may call on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday at 10:00 AM in All Saints Parish Oratory (St. Joseph’s) 391 Market St. Entombment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
