"Aunt Sis" as many of us always knew Catherine Bowler was my aunt and my always thoughtful and supportive Godmother who never failed to send me card's and gifts well into my adulthood. (For which I remembered to thank her maybe twice.) My aunt was a cheerful and very sincere person who was very concerned about the state of the world, and of western N.Y., and her Catholic parish. And she devoted herself to making positive change in the world through volunteer activities. She was a truly kind, and caring person and mother which is reflected in her likewise very kind children. She was also the beloved big sister and frequent phone buddy to my Mom (Ruth Daigler). The world and my life we're better places for the life of Aunt Sis and I will always remember her with love and affection.
