Charles S. Hameister of Lockport, NY, passed away on Monday February 13, 2017 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born on July 19, 1951 in Buffalo, he was the son of John and Mary Harding Hameister. Chuck served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and worked in shipping and receiving at Swissmar Imports.
He is the beloved husband of Patricia D. Hameister (nee Saunders); loving father of Robert (Kristen) Hameister, Paulette Bluhm and Christopher Hameister; cherished grandfather of Samantha, Kaiden and Leigham and brother of Nancy (Phil) Leyendecker, James (Nelly) Corey, late Carlton (Joann) Hameister, and late Charlene (late Howie) Moore. Also survived by nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law.
