Kathy was part of my growing up life during my High School years in Lockport. Prior to that time Vern and Kathy moved from Chicago back home to temporarily live with mom dad and me till they could find a home. Sue and I were dating during those years and we became very close to both them in their new home. We were regular visitors. In fact, their first son Gary, was named after me.
The Military then settling in Bossier City, La. separated us from them but we managed to visit whenever we came north. Sad when brother Vern passed last year. We visited Kathy last summer and she looked good; the way I want to remember her by.
However, her journey has ended and she will be with Vern now as she hoped for.
