To the Kenyon Family:
I just heard of your Dad's passing which brought back so many memories of Pine St and the best little grocery store ever! There were so many times the neighborhood children would go with their pennies to get a little bag of penny candy, which was always such a special treat! To me, however, was the nickname your dad gave me many years ago, "Strawberry Blonde." It has stuck with me for many years and it always makes me think of your dad when someone calls me that!
I did run into your Dad and Mom a few times after they moved to Newfane, which was always such a pleasure!
Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers with the loss of your Dad. But, the memories of him will live on in many of us who grew up with that small grocery store on Pine Street with the great owners who treated all of the children in the neighborhood so kind!

Joleen & family, It has been great to have Chuck as a friend. He always had a smile for everyone. I miss the New Year's Eve Parties at the Restivo house with Joleen & Chuck. I was in Pennsylvania visiting my daughter Trisha & my new grand daughter so was unable to visit the Funeral Home..
MAY HE REST IN PEACE ---AMEN!!!----Mickey Scarcia

My sincerest condolences to the entire Kenyon Family.
As one of the neighbor kids on Pine St. growing up in the 60's & 70's across from Chuck and the Kenyon family added to a wonderful childhood experience for me. The entire family was always great to be around. I have many fond memories of Mr. Kenyon. He was always great to talk to. May he rest in peace.

Sorry to hear about Chuck. I remember how he always would toy with us and make us laugh when we were kids ( As did Joe C.for that matter )..And then when my oldest daughter was little he did the same with her. He always loved children so much..Seemed he was always in good spirits.. Mom and Dad were so lucky to have such good friends like Chuck, Jolene, Katherine and Joe for so long !
Another member of " the greatest generation" has left us. RIP Chuck. My condolences to all the Kenyon family .. God Bless..
