Stella Demeter Demeter, Stella of Lockport, passed away on Tuesday January 23, 2007 in Lockport Memorial Hospital. Born on December 18, 1924 in Batavia, she was the daughter of Floyd and Emma Criswell. She enjoyed gardening, refinishing furniture and working with ceramics and leaded glass. She was predeceased by her husbands, Edward A. Hale, Sr. and Daniel Demeter, three bothers and a stepson. She is survived by her children, Edward A. Hale, Jr. and Diana (Charles) Morello both of Lockport, stepchildren, Mary DeLapa and Sharlee Ball, two grandchildren, Charles J. Morello and Joseph A. Morello and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Friends may call Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Lange Funeral Home, Inc. 186 East Ave. where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM.
