To my dear Cindy and family ~ I was very sad to hear about the passing of Sally, but more sad when I had heard that she was failing. I have so many memories at her house when the girls were young and always loved sitting and talking with her, and seeing her latest creation from "Mary MAxim". I remember the sweater she made that lit up!! You were all very fortunate to have her as long as you did. She is at peace again and with your Dad. My heart goes out to all of you, and if there is anything I can do, I hope you will call on me. I will try to get in touch or see you Sunday evening. With my love and sympathy ~ Deb Bonnie, Cindy, Kathy & my dear friend, Terri: I was so sadden to hear about Sally's death. She was such a great mom! There was no else in the neighborhood that would let us come into the house much less play inside. We were all such "pains in the ass" but I know she loved every one of us. There wasn't a sleepover to be had that I didn't hear her ankle crackin' as she came down the stairs in the morning. These are just a couple of many memories I have of your mom......yep, she was pretty cool. Her presence and support was so appreciated especially when Dad and later, Mom died. I'm sending a huge hug along with this message in hopes that your heavy hearts will be lifted if only for a moment. Love, Meg Dear Cindy, Bonnie, Kathy & Terri--- I heard from Meg, who heard from Mark about your Mom's passing. Sally Jean....What a great lady! I remember alot from the old days----sleepovers, summer's in the pool, and packing lunches to head down to the 'woods'. And Sal was always there with her cupacoffee, and jokes--what a great sense of humor! And years later whenever I'd see Sally, she would fill me in on all of you, and her grandchildren. She was so proud of all you Girls! I know you'll miss her a lot, but wallow in all of the wonderful memories of your Mom. They will sustain you for life. Thinking of you All. Love, Jane ;
