Marmo, Mary of Pendleton, NY, passed away on Tuesday June 17, 2014 in Elderwood Health Care, Cheektowaga. Born on September 12, 1921 in Sicily, Italy, she was the daughter of Charles and Gerlanda Rizzo Mattina. She was a longtime and very active member of Pendleton Center United Methodist Church. Mary was predeceased by her husband, R. Joseph Marmo in 1992. She is survived by two sons, Philip J. Marmo of Tonawanda and Charles J. Marmo of N. Tonawanda; two grandsons, Michael P. Marmo and Brian M. Marmo; one great granddaughter, Kaylie Marmo; her brother, Salvatore Mattina and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Pendleton Center United Methodist Church, 6864 Campbell Blvd., North Tonawanda, NY 14120. A reception will follow at the church.
