Morreale, Thelma R. of Lockport, NY passed away on Wednesday September 18, 2013 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born on September 22, 1944 in Tyrone, PA, she was the daughter of Rev. Howard K. and Charlotte Friday Markel. Thelma is the wife of Angelo Morreale and the late Robert Vickerd; mother of Robert J. (Tania) Vickerd, Jr. of Tonawanda, Patti-Jo (Michael) Steves of Gasport and Donald (Tammy) Vickerd of N. Tonawanda; grandmother of Samantha, Christopher, Matthew and Ryan Steves and Erik and Jake Vickerd; sister of Howard K. Markel, Jr., Patricia M. (Robert) Kustenbauder, Richard A. (Grace) Markel and James C. (Judi) Markel and aunt of several nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.langefuneralhomeinc.com.
