Galante, Florence (nee Siena) passed away on Tuesday August 20, 2013 in Briody Health Care Facility in the presence of family. Born on May 2, 1919 in Sicily, Italy, she was the daughter of Raymond and Therese Frucione Siena. She married Ettore Hector Galante on July 3, 1946, and together devoted their lives to each other and their family. She was predeceased by her husband in 1998, by her son, Daniel in February of 2013, several brothers, one sister and many close friends. Surviving are her daughter, Theresa Terri (Mark) Merritt; son, Raymond: grandson, Erik (Maria) Serafin of KS; granddaughter, Kerin (Joe) Jendrzejewski of PA; grandson, Daniel Galante of FL; granddaughter, Suzanne Galante of CA; 17 great grandchildren; brother, Angelo Siena; dear cousin, Lena and many nieces and nephews all of Rochester, NY. Friends may call on Friday 3:00 7:00 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave., Lockport where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment in Cold Springs Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.langefuneralhomeinc.com.
