Weir, Douglas J. of Lockport, NY passed away on Sunday March 24, 2013 at home. Born on May 9, 1939 in Lockport, he was the son of Roy E. and Grace Locke Weir. He served in the Marines from 1957 1959 and was retired from Harrison Radiator. Doug was a member of American Legion B. Leo Dolan Post and Lockport Elks Lodge #41 and enjoyed golfing and bowling. Surviving are his sisters, Barbara J. Weir of FL and Sandra (Michael) Gallagher of Lewiston; three nephews, Daniel (Dorothy) Gallagher of N.F.; Terrence Gallagher of Lewiston and David (Tonyetta) Gallagher of MD; 10 great nieces and nephews, best friend, Barkley McGruff and friends, Lori and Robert Watson of Lockport. He was predeceased by her nephew, Michael Gallagher. Friends may call on Thursday 6:00 9:00 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave., Lockport, NY where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM. Interment in Glenwood Cemetery.
