Mrs Miller was like a second mom to me when I was a little girl growing up on Cave St.I will remember her as being so kind and gentle.Her love of our Lord and family was so evident.Sympathy to all in the family;especially my dear friend Marcia. Love, Martha Bragg Zell For many of my years as a teacher at Emmet Belknap, every morning I was greeted by a dazzling smile and "Hi Sweetie". And anytime I went into the office, I could count on a warm greeting or a question about how I was doing. All of those things made me look forward to going to work everyday. And, all of those things came from the same source - a lovely woman named Jean Miller. I am so sorry to hear of her leaving us - I believe there was a need for her in a better place. And she will surely make that better place even better. Again, my deepest sympathy for a truly wonderful person. We are saddened to hear of Jean's death but are rejoicing that she is with Our Savior. She has a new body and is at peace. Allow the peace that God promises to us when we are troubled to sustain you. We are sorry we could not be with you for the real hugs but we send them to you All. Your family has been a real blessing to our community and to us. We are praying for you. Love Phil and Joanne Potempa Our heartfelt sympathies to Ralph and the family. Have known and loved Jean (thru Secretaries Asso.) for many years. She was a true friend and a Christian in all forms. She is with her Lord; God bless all of you. I was very saddened to learn of Jean Miller's passing this week. I had the privilege of working with Jean for several years as a Trustee of the Lockport City School District. Jean was very dedicated to her position as confidential secretary to the superintendent of schools. She always greeted everyone with a smile and was very helpful to me in my first year as a member of the Board. Jean was a wonderful person, willing to help others whenever she could and I will be forever grateful to her for her kindness to me and her dedication to the education of students in the Lockport City Schools. My sincere condolences to her husband and family at this difficult time. We have all lost a great lady! Allan W. Jack Secretary, Lockport Board of Education Jean shall be sadly missed. It was a privilege to have known and worked with her. Her competence as a secretary for the Lockport City School District was only surpassed by her competence as a terrific human being. Jean was a lady in every sense of the word. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in this time of immense loss. Whenever I met Jean, she was always more concerned in the wellfare of her friends and family. She always took time to enquire how others were doing. She made us feel special and happy. We will miss her very much. So much goodness has been taken from our midst. Brij Gupta I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Your Wife and Mother was a fine lady. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers. My sincere sympathy to the Miller family.Jean was a very special person who always had time to say hello and acknowledge you no matter how busy she was.I will miss running into her and Mr. Miller, as they were always together, especially for their walks. God Bless you all. When I started at Emmett, Jean was so helpful to me. She and Cindy Emerson were a great team and ran that building...Later as a teacher at Wilson I had a new appreciation for the professional secretaries association (thanks to Jean) and supported them with a luncheon and decorated cakes annually. I thought of her often..Your family was so kind to my sister Karen Raduns Helwig... Sympathy and prayers to all the family members... ;
