Obituary of Alice J. Truax

Truax, Alice J., formerly of Lockport, went to be with the Lord on Thursday January 5, 2012. Born on October 20, 1939 in Buffalo, NY she was the daughter of Anthony and Karolina Kozloski Wrona. She and her husband, James E. Truax were married in 1959. Music was Alice’s life as she was a longtime pianist at First Baptist Church in Lockport and taught piano lessons. Alice is survived by her husband, James E. Truax, her daughter, Janine (Andrew) Zacher of Medina, her sister, Maryann (late Dr. Vincent) Rizzo of Amherst, her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Wrona and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Jennifer Anne Truax, a sister, Teresa Glogowski and two brothers, Leonard and Anthony Wrona. Friends may call on Sunday 2:00 – 6:00 PM at Lange Funeral Home, Inc., 186 East Ave., Lockport, NY. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM from Yates Baptist Church, 11365 E. Yates Center Rd., Lyndonville, NY. Interment in Hartland Central Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
