Hill, Mary Carolyn went to Heaven on Tuesday December 13, 2011 at Niagara Hospice House. Born on January 14, 1946 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of William O. and Mary C. Donovan Hill. Mary Carolyn faced many challenges during her lifetime, but always maintained the most beautiful smile and positive attitude. She showed a strength and courage that amazed everyone. She truly was already an angel here on Earth, and it was a privilege to have her with us in her final weeks. Mary Carolyn is the sister of John M. (Judith) Hill of Gasport, Patricia Swick of Newfane and James Ellis of Ransomville, aunt of Elizabeth (Sam) Nixon, William (Jenny) Swick, Matthew Hill and Mary Hill, great aunt of Cameron Swick and Jamie and Julian Nixon, and niece of Gloria (late John) Donovan, Gerald (Geraldine) Donovan and Joyce (late Donald) Donovan. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday January 8, 2012 at 12:30 PM from Niagara Falls Vineyard, 5604 Lindberg Ave., Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc., 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport, NY 14094 or Save-A-Pet of Niagara County, PO Box 114, Newfane, NY 14108.
