Obituary of Rose M. Penwright

Penwright, Rose Marie of Pittsford, NY, formerly of Lockport, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 17, 2011. Born on August 10, 1927 in the Town of Cambria. She worked at Harrison Radiator for 21 years retiring in 1997. She was compassionate and active in charity work with animals all her life. Predeceased by her husband, Harold E. “Jack” Penwright and her grandson, Michael McKie, she is survived by her children, James L. (Denise) Penwright of Fairport, NY and Joan (Mark) Hutchison of Lockport, NY, three grandchildren, Dan (Cheryl) McKie, Jr., Jason (Stacey) McKie and Mark Hutchison II, two great grandchildren, Lily Grace McKie and Jake Michael McKie, her sister, Zita Wnuk and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the entire caring staff of The Living Center at the Highlands in Pittsford, NY. Friends may call on Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Lange Funeral Home, Inc., 186 East Ave., Lockport, NY. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 AM.
