Eric F. Smith, of Lockport, NY entered into rest on Thursday, May 5, 2011. Born on June 17, 1976, Eric was the son of Kathleen (Smith) Benedetti and the late Francis H. Smith, Jr. Eric was a 1994 graduate of Lockport High School where he was a honors student and a member of the varsity basketball team. He was previously employed in the golf and recreation business. Eric participated in many sports throughout the years and was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and the New York Yankees. Eric is survived by his mother, Kathleen (Smith) Benedetti and stepfather, Rick Benedetti of Lockport; sisters, Shannon (Travis) Smith Carrow of Williamsville and Jaime Smith of Washington, D.C.;nephews, Bennett and Owen Carrow of Williamsville and several loving relatives.
