Obituary of Peter J. Scotch

Peter J. Scotch Scotch, Peter J. of Lockport, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday February 20, 2011 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born on September 12, 1942 in Lockport, he was the son of Joseph J. and Carmella Maiorna Scotch. He was a machine repairman and model maker at Harrison Radiator for 35 years, retiring in 1997. Peter and his wife the former Janice Wolters were married on September 16, 1961. He was vice president of the former Lockport Barge Camping Club and a member of the UAW. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting and selling antiques, traveling and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Peter is survived by his wife, Janice Wolters Scotch, two children, David (Colleen) Scotch of Newstead and Lisa Scotch Seiler of Lockport, four grandchildren, Devin and Dylan Scotch and Brianna and Matthew Seiler, two sisters, Patricia (Warren) Hopkins of MA and Maria (Dennis) Miller of Lockport, a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carol and Donald Latta and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Camille Scotch and Loretta (Anthony) Genovese. Friends may call on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Lange Funeral Home, Inc. 186 East Ave., Lockport, NY where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Interment in Cold Spring Cemetery.
