Obituary of Arlene F. Duby

Arlene F. Duby Duby, Arlene F. of Lockport, NY, passed away on Thursday December 23, 2010 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Newfane. Born on October 21, 1926 in Newfane, NY, she was the daughter of Albert and Martha Davis Tompkins. She graduated from Lockport High School in 1945, worked in the shoe department of Montgomery Wards in the 1960’s and retired from Harrison Radiator after working there for 23 years. She was a member of the retirees travel club, was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She is survived by her son, Stephen A. Duby; a grandson, Jason A. (Heather) Duby, her former daughter-in-law, Janet Watts, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her children, Jo Anne Duby and John A. Duby and her sister, Eleanor Zastrow. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. She will be buried with her Jo Anne Duby. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice House or The Salvation Army.
